The Royal Exchange

Once the hub of the world’s cotton trade, The Royal Exchange Manchester is now an eclectic collection of luxury high street brands and independent boutique shops playing a key role in the city’s thriving shopping and lifestyle culture.

The Grade II listed building incorporates St Ann’s Square, Old Bank Street, Cross Street, Market Street and the Arcade as well as being home to The Royal Exchange Theatre. The building was constructed in its current form between 1914-1921 and once complete it was officially opened by King George V and Queen Mary.
