Wacky the Waconian tells the fascinating story of Cheadle Hulme School. Founded in 1855 as a school for orphaned boys, it was originally called the Manchester Warehousemen and Clerks School for Necessitous Children. The school moved premises to Ardwick in 1861, and then to its current location in 1869.
