Name: The Bee from the East
Location: The HSBC UK National Cycling Centre
School: 4CT East Manchester Youth Groups
The youth club members designed Bees that reflected their thoughts and feelings about their youth clubs, their area and Manchester as a whole. They wanted their Bee to represent inclusion, Manchester music, sport and the I Love Manchester campaign. They combined all the ideas to draft the final bee design – The Bee from the East.
