School: St Ambrose Barlow RC High School
The school quickly decided that their Bee sculpture should very much represent where they are from; Salford. After discovering that Shaun Ryder is an ex pupil of the School, pupils took inspiration from the Happy Mondays’ psychedelic artwork to create a Bee which celebrates Salford’s vibrant culture, iconic figures and buildings.
