Robot Battle Bee is partly realistic and partly robotic, with a steampunk edge. The growth of Manchester’s textile industry in the 1800s is referenced through the heavy cogs, wheels and Victorian machinery. The Bee is ready to fight whatever is thrown at him, mirroring the resilience of the city. The steampunk twist brings him straight into the present day.
