School: St Aidan’s Roman Catholic School
The whole school participated in designing the Bee, and a group of Year 5 and 6 children decided how the sculpture would be painted. The children decided to take aspects of the best designs and use them to decorate the sculpture. The pupils wanted the Bee to represent the hard-working ethos of the school and of Manchester as a whole.
