Egerton High School’s Bee is based on their studies of the Mexican festival Dia de los Muertos, or ‘Day of the Dead.’ The Bee is decorated with individual sugar skulls hand-painted by students, with bright flowers such as roses and marigolds. The Bee also celebrates the lives of those lost in the Manchester Arena attack; our city’s Manchester Angels.
