Cheadle Hulme Infant and Junior School held a design competition for their Bee, and eight winners were chosen to decorate it. The gold head signifies achievement, the cogs signify teamwork and strength, and the style makes reference to the Industrial Revolution. The busy bees on the base represent growth and friendship, whilst outer wings displaying pupils’ faces represent equality.
