Didsbury Library’s Storytime groups were inspired by farm and wild animals, fruit and vegetables. They were also interested in the bright colours of pop art. The Bee represents the children’s love of animal stories and the beautiful bright illustrations that feed their imaginations, and the fruit and vegetables the Bee stands on supports healthy eating.
