LeiMai’s mural pays homage to the music scene, taking inspiration from old rave flyers and touching on the current precarious situation regarding the music sector. She wanted the piece to portray how bland life could be without the arts. The piece is interactive to show how important it is for us all to stick together and interact with one another.
Lei-Mai is an artist and designer from Liverpool, living in Manchester. With a background in graffiti and street wear, and a love for lettering and illustration, her work is an unapologetic mixture of modern styles and traditional techniques.
