This installation depicts stylised icebergs as an ode to the negative impacts of waste and overconsumption on climate change. Made from consumer waste, the patterned forms serve to demonstrate not only how excessive our waste is but also how it can be recycled and reused to create something beautiful.
Ibukun Baldwin is a multidisciplinary artist and social practitioner specialising in print, illustration and embroidery. Ibukun founded Bukky Baldwin Ltd out of a growing awareness of the neglected needs of marginalised communities and also the amazing potential within the creative industry to help.
