Name: Touché No More
Location: Oliver Bonas Manchester
Artist: Jack McConnell
Touché No More is a mixed-media installation exploring touch, inspired by images of female fencers. It reflects on the precarity of new relationships in a time when to touch invites risk, and on the value of sensory connection to combat isolation. Behind glass, a series of figures dance across paper and textiles seeking human connection, their hearts on their sleeves. In the absence of touch, its value is felt.
