Artist: Artists & Makers from Manchester Craft and Design Centre
The beautiful studios, home to nearly 40 makers, fit wonderfully into a trail of creativity in Manchester’s City Centre. Each studio window offers a glimpse at expertly made pieces of art but also a behind the scenes look at the process behind the work as all of the makers work and sell on site.
Unfortunately Manchester Craft and Design Centre is temporarily closed due to Government restrictions. You will still be able to collect the app code. Please read more below.
Manchester Craft and Design Centre is a bustling creative hub in the Northern Quarter. Set in a former Victorian fish market, Manchester Craft and Design Centre has been home to over 20 studios and 40 makers for nearly 40 years. Our building operated as a fish market from 1892 until 1973 and we love to think about the history of the building framed in each studio window, in fact many still hold quirky original features and fittings. Visit the centre to see vibrant windows brimming with jewelry, ceramics, glass, illustrations and more in each of our studio shops! To find out more visit craftanddesign.com
