A tryptic of historical Mancunians – famous by name, not so famous by face.
Following an epiphany in front of a Ugandan mosaic six years ago, Mary Goodwin has been making mosaics. Initially self taught in Leeds she went on to meet established mosaic artist Mark Kennedy here in Manchester (the back of The Castle to be exact). Since then she has collaborated with Mark on various mosaic projects around the city as well as developing her own body of mosaic work, with a particular emphasis on portraits.
