The display was inspired by Laura’s love of nature and in particular the taste and flavours that are often used as botanicals in craft gin. All art work was originally painted by hand using watercolours and then replicated as a series of high quality limited edition prints.
Manchester born Laura-Kate has been running her own freelance illustration business, Laura-Kate Draws since 2009. She has worked on a variety of commission-based projects as well as developing her own range of illustrated gift ware products and hosting illustration and screen print workshops in schools, museums and events across the North West. Her art work is predominantly hand-drawn and painted, using a variety of media and often involves intricate detail and lots of animals.
