Nicola is a painter/ illustrator from Manchester whose design focuses on the creation of green spaces within the grey landscape of Manchester. The leafy design is inspired by houseplants, traditional flowers and nature. The Bee appears to be riding on a rainbow, which references Manchester’s diversity and vibrant culture.
The Mayfield Partnership is delivering the transformation of Manchester’s historic Mayfield site over the next decade, with £1bn of investment creating a new district with homes, office space, hotels, retail and leisure facilities and a new city centre public park. The Partnership comprises LCR, wholly-owned by the Department for Transport; Manchester City Council; Transport for Greater Manchester and specialist regeneration and property development company U+I.
