Name: The Love Bee
Designed and decorated by: Nisha Grover.
Sponsor: St Peter’s House Chaplaincy
There’s a buzz around here and a constant humming from the beehives on the roof. This Bee celebrates the essence of what this city stands for, and what it cares most deeply about – unity, community and loving one another. The faith symbols represent Manchester’s commitment to standing together, united by love and the belief in the goodness of people.
St Peter’s House is the Chaplaincy to the Universities of Manchester and the Royal Northern College of Music. It is a place of curiosity, encounter and gift. Everything is connected; people, place, spirituality, arts, well-being, the search for understanding. It all interweaves. Everything flourishes when one thing leads to another.
