Big Bees

Themes from Manchester’s heritage wind themselves around this Bee, taking you on a journey from the city’s beginnings as a Roman fort known as Mamucium or Mancunium, through the Industrial Revolution, to the start of the Suffragette Movement and more modern times. The colour palette becomes more vibrant as the design takes in Manchester’s creative scene and other cultural highlights.

The Federation is home to a community of digital innovators and civic, private and public sector businesses in Manchester. An initiative by the Co-op Group and supported by The Omidyar Network and Co-op Foundation, it is based on ethical values and a commitment to creating a more inclusive digital economy. The Federation offers alternative business models such as co-operatives, community interest companies and social enterprise.
