Name: Hilda Bugden
Designed and decorated by: Lee O'Brien.

Lee – a Liverpool art teacher and illustrator – has taken his inspiration from Manchester’s most iconic street, with a design based on one of its most famous characters (someone who was always buzzing about!). The art celebrates strong Northern women that we can all relate to, whether it is family members or some of the residents of television’s favourite street.
Manchester BID (Business Improvement District) is a consortium of 400 retailers and restaurants across the city centre. Managed by CityCo,
the BID brings businesses together to launch public events and festivals, improve environmental standards and promote our great city.
Lee O'Brien is a secondary school art teacher and freelance Illustrator based in Liverpool. Since 2009 he has been a keen sculpture trail artist, having public art exhibited all over the UK. His sculptures have raised over £50,000 for various charities. He loves how public art engages the general public and those who wouldn't normally visit a gallery. @gingerleo
