Design Inspiration

Hallé St Bee-ter’s reflects the Hallé’s relationship with Manchester’s industrial heritage, and its base in Ancoats at Hallé St Peter’s. It celebrates the wonderful partnership between the Hallé and its principal sponsor Siemens – a perfect blend of music and industry. The artist’s family history in Ancoats, the street names, music shops of old and the brass of the instruments have all influenced this design.

Now in its 160th season, the Hallé has a reputation for artistic excellence, ranking it amongst the world’s top symphonic ensembles. The Hallé’s community projects include the incredible Ancoats Community Choir, offering local people the chance to learn a new skill whilst having fun.
