This Bee features a full-on club scene of lights in its base; a portrait of ‘Mr Manchester’, Anthony H Wilson; and the iconic yellow and black stripes synonymous with The Haçienda and Peter Saville’s design. A ‘Madchester’ logo sums up the era (1989/90) when all eyes were
on the city as a global cultural hub. Look out for famous quotes and splashes of ‘Mane’ humour!
The Printworks is a buzzing entertainment complex, alive with activity seven days a week. One of Manchester’s most iconic venues, with a rich history as a publishing house, this city centre hotspot now houses a state-of-the-art IMAX cinema, a fully equipped gym and sixteen bars and restaurants. Its roof garden is home to four honey-producing beehives!
Justin Eagleton is a professional artist, illustrator and designer born and bred in Manchester. He has over 25 years’ experience working in the creative industries, from designing props and sets for television to becoming a lead graphic artist within the games industry.
