This Bee is named after Benny Rothman, the Mancunian who lead the Mass Trespass of Kinder Scout, an act of civil disobedience that resulted in our right to roam – essential to the Great British outdoor enthusiast! Benny the Bee left the hive for the greater good of
all the other worker bees.
Ellis Brigham Mountain Sports is a third generation, Mancunian, family business which started in Harpurhey 85 years ago. Since selling and repairing walking boots from the shop below the family home in 1933, the business is now a nationwide chain of stores selling the best of winter and mountain sports equipment and apparel, and providing expert advice.
Hammo (Nick Hamilton) is an illustrator and mural painter from Manchester. Bold characters and landscapes, and clean lines are a common feature of his work, and his colourful murals and illustrations can be seen in public spaces, bars, offices, schools, shops, and on beer cans across Manchester.
