Lynda Sterling is a local artist based in Old Trafford. She creates work inspired by her everyday environment and surroundings. She aims to challenge those who encounter her work to ‘look again’ at what may be deemed as ordinary, and find beauty in the everyday. Her work ranges from abstract murals to documented images and interventions with found objects to paintings and drawings placed in hidden public spaces. She is passionate about creating opportunities for everyone to access and enjoy art in their everyday life and to be able to explore and be encouraged in their own creativity. She volunteers at Limelight and runs the weekly Drawing Social group on Wednesday mornings.
