Manchester Craft and Design Centre is a bustling creative hub in the Northern Quarter. Set in a former Victorian fish market, Manchester Craft and Design Centre has been home to over 20 studios and 40 makers for nearly 40 years. Our building operated as a fish market from 1892 until 1973 and we love to think about the history of the building framed in each studio window, in fact many still hold quirky original features and fittings. Visit the centre to see vibrant windows brimming with jewelry, ceramics, glass, illustrations and more in each of our studio shops!
