A small handful of some of the work commissioned by a leading global clothes brand in order to capture the feeling of late 1980’s and 1990’s Manchester. Covid19 meant that the clothes models could not be flown to the city for a photo shoot so instead ten City centre locations were rebuilt and the clothes models were photoshopped on to the models you see for a print advert which goes live in February 2021.
Manchester, an ever changing landscape caught in a whirlwind of free flowing international money swirling with architects looking to cement their names in city landscape coffee table books, looks on as her previous buildings make way for new shiny ones. There is no better time than the present to capture those exact buildings and recreate them in miniature so that we have a tangible reminder of an era that was.
